When to remove timestamps; when to keep them

Timestamps helps your readers to know when the post was writen. But some times it is not necessary. For example, if your blog is about tips and tricks then timestamp is irrelevant. You must follow Google's policy of keeping only the necessary things on your page.

However, if your blog is event based then timestamp is a must.
